You do if:
- You are a woman or person with a cervix.
- Are aged between 25 and 74.
- Have or have not had the HPV vaccine.
- Have had sex of any kind, even if you’re not currently sexually active.
- Have had a long term partner.
- Have been through menopause.
- You are pregnant and due or overdue for your screen (haven’t been screened within the last 5 years).
You do not need to be screened if:
- Your cervix was completely removed as part of a hysterectomy.
- You’ve never had any type of sexual contact.
