Sorry Day at SSMC
South Steyne Medical Centre wishes to remind people of the mistreatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people during the 20th century, when Indigenous children – known today as the Stolen Generations – were forcibly taken from their families.
We would like to remind our patients to appreciate that this day may be sensitive for many people.
SSMC proudly provides an equal and culturally safe environment for all patients, as part of our mission to provide high quality healthcare to all.
