South Steyne Medical Centre’s opening hours will be changing for the Christmas and New Year holidays. Please take heed of the following changes:

Sunday 24th December (Christmas Eve): Closed

Monday 25th December (Christmas Day): Closed

Tuesday 26th December (Boxing Day): Closed

Wednesday 27th December – Saturday 30th December: Open

Saturday 30th December: Closed

Sunday 31st December (New Year’s Eve): Closed

Monday 1st January 2024 (New Year’s Day): Closed

South Steyne Medical Centre will reopen on Tuesday 2nd January 2024. Please speak to our reception team if you need further guidance with these changes.

🌟 Holiday Availability Notice 🌟

🎄 Some of the Doctors, as well as our Nurses and other Staff, are taking a well-earned break over the Christmas and New Year period.

Except as noted below, the Centre will remain open during its usual operating hours but with reduced coverage. In case of delays to your consultation or treatment, we ask that you please be patient. To further cut down on wait times, you can book an appointment via HotDoc or the website rather than walk in.

🙏 Thank you for your understanding, and we extend warm wishes for a joyful and healthy holiday season.

We’re really excited to be welcoming Dr. Mangan back to South Steyne Medical Centre!

Dr. Mangan has extensive experience in General Practice, and is a highly accomplished doctor. If you were previously a patient of Dr. Mangan’s, please click here to book an appointment with her.

It’s World Heart Day at South Steyne Medical Centre.

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) kills 18.6 million people every year and kills more people than cancer, respiratory disease and HIV.

CVD is largely the result of lifestyle factors, which is good news, because these are things that can be controlled in our own lives.

Cardiovascular disease may seem like an insurmountable obstacle or maybe something that seems inevitable. However, by taking proactive measures in your health sooner you can greatly reduce your risk of CVD.
