Dr Jon Levenston
MBBS
Dr Levenson has lived in the Manly area for over 50 years. He was educated at Manly West Public School and Manly Boys High. After completing his training at the University of New South Wales, Jon was resident at Royal North Shore Hospital, Manly Hospital and Mona Vale Hospital and commenced a Family Practice in 1980. Jon’s sub specialty for over 30 years was addiction medicine and opioid dependency and this involved being the Medical Officer in charge at Fairlight Methadone Unit (Visiting Medical Officer, Royal North Shore Hospital). Dr Levenson has served the Manly community for over 40 years as a Family Physician, catering to all facets of general practice. Dr. Levenston is also able to asses diver medicals.
Interests: Family medicine, travel medicine, dive medicine, childhood medicine and ageing related diseases.
Dr Freda Mangan
MB, BCh, MRCGP
Dr. Mangan completed her medical degree at Trinity College, Dublin in 2009. She first worked in Sydney in a hospital setting from 2011-2013, then moved to the UK in 2013 where she completed her GP training. Dr. Mangan then worked in London as a GP for several years before returning to Australia and joining South Steyne Medical Centre.
Interests: Mental health, paediatrics and women’s health.
Dr Kevin Bullen
MB, BCh ,FRACGP, Honorary Associate University of Sydney

Dr Bullen has been a GP for 30 years having graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College for General Practice and holds an Academic Appointment with the University of Sydney.
Dr Bullen is passionate about empowering patients in their care needs from preventative care through to chronic disease management.
Dr Bullen has 3 years of experience as the Chief Medical Officer for Healius Ltd where he developed patient centred chronic care pathways to include the whole practice team, and his philosophy continues as he moves to join the team at South Steyne Medical Centre.
Outside of work he enjoys long walks with the family and dogs and supporting England in sports.

Dr Maria Jones Caballero
MD (Hons), PhD, FACD
Dr Maria completed her medical career with honours at the University Autonoma of Madrid. She became a Dermatologist in the Hospital de La Princesa of Madrid in 1992. She later finished a PhD in Quality of Life in Dermatology in 2000. She has rotated in 2 American University Hospitals: Jackson Memorial Hospital (University of Miami’s School of Medicine) and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Massachusetts General Hospital (both in the Harvard Medical School Hub).
Dr Maria worked as a Dermatologist in Spain for more than a decade before moving to Australia and becoming a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2008. Besides her private practice, she is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney, and she has an appointment as Staff Specialist in Westmead Hospital where she oversees 3 specialised clinics (Dermatology for Solid Organ Transplant Patients, High Risk Melanoma Clinic and Oncodermatology).
Outside of the clinic, she loves dancing, photography, and snorkelling.

Dr Thu Linh (Lin) Ly
MBBS, FRACGP
Dr. Thu Linh Ly is a senior GP and is a graduate of the University of New South Wales. Dr Ly is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Ly commenced practising in Manly 25 years ago and is a well-known family physician for many local families. She is passionate about providing care to women, children, and adolescents and is highly skilled in workplace and preventative health.
Outside of providing healthcare services, Dr Ly enjoys learning French and plays in the community orchestra.

Dr. Nikita Hostland
MBBS, SCHP, FRACGP
Dr. Hostland graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery, and holds a fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She also holds an Earth and Environmental Sciences degree from the University of British Columbia.
Dr. Hostland brings extensive clinical experience to South Steyne Medical Centre, with broad knowledge across the areas of Indigenous health, family planning, and children’s health. Before practicing at South Steyne Medical Centre, Dr. Hostland gained extensive experience by working in the South Coast Medical Service Aboriginal Corporation, St. Vincent’s Hospital, and various surgery clinics across Australia. Additionally, she has contributed to health research literature, including studies on skin cancer, nutrition, and prenatal testing. Dr. Hostland has also been involved in the Mirage Rural High School Visit program, GP and junior doctor mentorship, and healthcare work in the Solomon Islands.
Dr. Hostland is also qualified to provide the yellow fever vaccine and has an interest in travel medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Hostland enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and spending time in the natural environment of the Northern beaches with her family.
Dr. Melissa Phillis
DCH, BMed, FRACGP
Dr Melissa graduated from The University of Newcastle in 2008 and has 14 years of postgraduate experience across multiple medical specialties. She is a specialist GP and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), and holds a Diploma in Child Health and a Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health with Family Planning NSW. She is currently undertaking dual Fellowship in Lifestyle Medicine with the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine.
Dr Melissa is passionate about holistic healthcare for the prevention and treatment of chronic disease, and prescribes lifestyle medicine and plant medicines alongside conventional therapies to optimise treatment outcomes for her patients. Dr Melissa has a special interest in treating autoimmune and inflammatory disorders and women’s health including endometriosis. An ex-Queenslander,
Dr Melissa now calls the beautiful Northern beaches of Sydney home. Outside of work she enjoys staying active and living a healthy lifestyle. She is a self-confessed pilates addict, amateur yogi, passionate coffee drinker and nature lover.

Dr Jessica Lai
MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Lai completed her undergraduate medical degree (MBBS) at the University of New South Wales in 2011. Following this, she obtained a Master’s degree in Surgical Sciences from the University of Edinburgh and a further postgraduate Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney.
To date, Dr Lai’s work history has seen her employed in a number of hospital and GP practices in both regional and metropolitan locations. This broad experience has equipped Dr Lai with a breadth of skills including surgical, paediatric and obstetrics and gynecology which she is able to utilise for the benefit of her patients.
Dr Lai has recently undertaken further training in one of her areas of medical interest which is skin cancer medicine and dermatoscopy. As a result of this, she has been admitted as a member of the Australasian Skin Cancer College. To date, she has dedicated weekly sessions for skin cancer medicine and is looking to expand this in the future.
Dr Lai is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Vivian Chan
MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Chan completed her training at the University of New South Wales (MBBS). After completing her training Dr Chan worked in Sydney as a Resident in the Northern Area Health Service and most recently was based in Singapore at the Mount Elizabeth Hospital as Senior Resident. Dr. Chan is also able to asses diver medicals.

Dr. Larry Yee
MBBS, Master of Medicine, Skin Cancer College Australasia
Dr Yee established and operated multiple skin cancer clinics in rural coastal NSW over the last 20 plus years. He currently provides regular visiting skin cancer consultant services in Coffs Harbour. In December 2021, Dr Yee, in conjunction with South Steyne Medical Centre, established the first full service skin cancer clinic in Manly.
Dr Yee has also been instrumental in the establishment and management of the first and biggest Indigenous community owned, not for profit social enterprise, operating culturally appropriate primary health clinics in NSW Mid North Coast and Far West regions.
Dr Yee is a passionate believer in addressing social inequality via impact investment ventures.
He manages his family foundation fund focusing on rural Indigenous children’s education scholarship assistance and community development.
Internationally, Dr Yee provides advisory consulting services, at the board level, for social enterprises based in India and Singapore, providing telehealth clinic services in rural India and social-mental health well-being engagement in societal socially disadvantaged groups in Asia Pacific countries respectively.
Dr Yee completed MBBS at Adelaide University and Master of Medicine at Sydney University. He holds an impact investment qualification from Oxford University in the UK.
Interests: Skin Cancer Medicine-Surgical and Non-surgical treatment options, Impact investment driven social changes, Indigenous health and social policies and Technology driven solutions for health-social issues.

Dr. Caroline Rogers
MBBS, DRCOG, FRACGP
Dr. Rogers has lived and worked on the Northern Beaches for the last 20 years. Dr. Rogers originally qualified in the UK, having studied Medical Science at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. She initially practised as a GP in the UK and commenced her practice as a GP in Sydney in the early 2000s. She has previously held Clinical Director roles at two large practices in Sydney. Dr. Rogers also has considerable experience training GP Registrars and medical students.
Dr. Rogers is passionate about evidence-based early intervention and proactive care to prevent progression to chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and arthritis. She also has a special interest in the management of menopause and weight loss.
In her free time, Dr. Rogers enjoys ocean swimming, political satire and spending time with her three children.
Interests: Use of evidence/data-based models of care in the management of chronic disease and complex conditions, women’s health including menopause, weight loss, GP Registrar and medical student training.
Dr. Tiffany Jones
MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Tiffany Jones is an experienced GP having graduated from University College London in the UK. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Initially working in Hospitals in London she has now been working as a GP in Australia for the last 20 years. Most recently as a clinic lead at a highly regarded practice in The Northern Beaches.
With a passion for all aspects of General Practice she enjoys providing comprehensive care to the whole family and the privilege of really getting to know her patients.
Her special interests range from antenatal care and paediatriatrics to looking after patients with complex chronic disease including heart disease, diabetes and respiratory and neurological conditions. In addition to Dr Jones’s clinical role she is an experienced educator and mentor having taught medical students and been a supervisor to GP registrars for many years. Outside of work Tiffany enjoys running, triathlons , hiking, ocean swimming and spending special time with her family.
Interests: complex chronic medical illness, women’s health including insertion of IUD’s, antenatal care and paediatrics.
Dr. Nicholas Young
MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Nicholas Young is a graduate of Griffith University, Queensland (2016). He completed his hospital training at the Gold Coast University Hospital, and the Westmead and St Vincent’s Hospitals in Sydney. He gained his fellowship in General Practice in 2022.
Dr Young practices privately at South Steyne Medical Centre on Tuesdays and Fridays, while working in a specialised skin cancer service on the Central Coast. His special interests include dermatology, paediatrics, musculoskeletal medicine and men’s health. He has completed a diploma with the Sydney Child Health Program, affiliated with the Westmead Children’s Hospital.
He is also undertaking the Advanced Clinical Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. In his spare time he is normally being dragged along for trail runs by his wife and dog and is a keen (yet average) surfer.
